An Oscar-winning director, two of the biggest stars that Hollywood has to offer at present, a picturesque Handlungsort - this must be good, right?

also a pity that the film focuses mainly relies on the chemistry between the protagonists and that unfortunately is not as good as or absent. In "The Tourist" is the response more of a shrug and a friendly, "Joa, if they think it okay."
Okay. This is the word that describes the entire film is actually very good. I thought it was not as bad as all the critics made him (otherwise I would certainly went in a second time, Johnny Depp or not), but he was so ... insignificant. Nice conversation, seen forgotten. Depp has been made worse films Jolie as well. Let's hope they surprise us next time with a real blast.
What else is there to say? The film looks very good, Venice is expertly staged and Angelina Jolie always carries beautiful clothes. The other actors are good so far, I'm happy just to see more about Paul Bettany, although its role also do not give of a lot. Timothy Dalton is even too. And Rufus Sewell, it is thanks to them that the film has to offer at the end again a really good laugh, and thanks especially to its synchronous voice that is so obvious Jack Sparrow, even noticed that the average Joe moviegoer. Conclusion: Nice entertainment that does not hurt. Beautiful people in beautiful surroundings, but unfortunately not particularly memorable.
